For more than 100 years, we have been involved in agricultural practices. From farming to processing, and stocking to exporting, all under one roof. We grow, process, stock, and export. We have a headquarters in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and a wide network throughout India. In India, we supply our chicory products to well-known FMCG companies like Hindustan Unilever. We have expertise in chicory processing, like cutting and roasting. We take care of even cubic cutting of chicory roots and roasting them to reach their taste and color.

The seeds of Vashila Industries were sown by our great grandfather, more than a hundred years ago by taking up farming at a farm near Nadiad. Over the years the business flourished and has been passed down over generations. The third generation of the family led by Salim Ahmed and Shabbir Ahmed took the leap by establishing Vashila Industries in 2012 thereby, venturing into contract manufacturing, processing, manufacturing, and trading sectors of the agriculture industry.
Today, Vashila Industries has a processing and storage unit spread across 35,000 square feet. Apart from this, contract manufacturing for agricultural products is carried out at our farms near Nadiad City and Mansa Taluka. Fresh vegetables like potatoes, onions, okra, eggplant (brinjal), green chillies, bottle gourd, etc. and fruits like watermelon, muskmelon, papaya, bananas, etc. are grown at these farms, located in two of the most fertile districts of Gujarat.
Our process begins with selecting high- quality chicory roots. We then clean and dry these roots thoroughly..
Subsequently, we roast the roots at 140- 150°C in a natural gas roaster. This step is crucial for developing the optimal flavor and aroma.
After roasting, we cool the chicory roots and grind them in a heat-controlled grinder. This ensures that the powder achieves the best possible flavor.
Finally, we sieve the powder for consistency and package it carefully to maintain its quality.
